. . . What a wonderful organization you have put together. It is quite uncomfortable to be bald -– you are either too hot or too cold. Having to deal with wigs, scarves and hats is an undertaking all on its own. Much love to you.

What a fabulous way to end 2011!
Subject: KNOTS OF LOVE
Dear Christine, the nurse manager of our chemotherapy unit at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center has asked me to contact you to see if there would be any way that they could get another donation of your “handmade with love” caps. Word had spread throughout our chemo unit and when some of the Veterans were asked where they bought their caps, they said they were donated from your organization.
I must admit I was blown away by the beauty and creativity of each and every one of the caps we received. Your tags make it very clear that many people want to give back to our nation’s heroes for the price they have paid for our freedom. I also wish that I had paid more attention when my mother-in-law was crocheting away all those years!
