Needleworks Club Presented 187 Chemo Caps to Knots of Love at April Meeting
To Date, the Club has Donated over 3,500 Knitted Caps!

Christine Fabiani, Founder and Executive Director of Knots of Love was the special guest at the April 12 Needleworks Club meeting. Knots of Love is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public charity, founded in 2007, that provides handmade caps for men, women and children experiencing the effects of cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

The Needleworks Club presented Christine with 187 chemo caps to deliver to cancer centers and VA Hospitals. The caps help keep patients warm in the chilly treatment rooms, and provide a fashionable way to cover hair loss. To date, the Club has donated over 3,500 chemo caps to Knots of Love – more than any other group or organization.

Patterns and specific yarn requirements are available to any interested Village resident. Call Bess at 470-9175, or visit the Needleworks Club at their weekly meeting at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays at Clubhouse 2, Dining Room 3.
