    Here at CMCC, we see so many women with advanced cancers and they typically are enduring harsh chemotherapies throughout the remainder of their lives. These caps are a reminder that someone is thinking of them, and sending them the symbolic love and warmth that they represent.

Your contribution will purchase yarn and distribute caps nationwide so even more patients can experience a bit of pleasure and comfort as they undergo exhausting chemo treatments. Make an “In Memory” Donation for a Relative or Friend

When an In Memory donation is received, Knots of Love promptly sends a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated, notifying them of your thoughtful donation but not revealing the amount of the donation. Every gift is tax deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgment of his or her donation.

Make an “In Honor” Donation

Celebrate a loved one’s survivorship or a special occasion — birthday, anniversary, wedding, or in lieu of gifts for an occasion. An In Honor donation can also recognize the courage of a friend or relative fighting cancer or other life-threatening diseases. When an In Honor donation is received, Knots of Love promptly sends a personalized tribute card to the person or family indicated, notifying them of your thoughtful donation but not revealing the amount of the donation. Every gift is tax deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgment of his or her donation.

Raise awareness of Knots of Love

Recruit Cap Makers in Your Community

Be a Knots of Love Ambassador. Knitting clubs, churches, Girl Scout troops, yarn stores and senior centers are places where you can find knitters and crocheters.

Donate Your Time and Talent and Make Caps

If you’re an experienced knitter or crocheter, a novice or someone picking up the needles or hooks after a prolonged absence, we need you! Be sure to use yarns from our approved list, and make sure your caps meet the criteria on our Guidelines page.
